Hi, I'm McKenzie, the proud leader of red door. I feel lucky to work beside such talented artists, and am always inspired by the hairstyles we put out. I am not currently accepting new clients, but your hair is always in great hands here.
As a bit of a hair nerd, I am continually seeking new knowledge, skills, and techniques. In my lifetime of loving hair, I've practiced many different things in the beauty industry. I now specialize in lightening services and naturally blended color, as well as relaxed updos and soft makeup for brides and special events.
Staying current on trends is a must, but so is listening to clients' needs and making sure their hair fits their lifestyle and identity.
Sometimes I shut up about hair, and just hang out with my friends. I love cooking, arts & crafts, and the great outdoors. I enjoy new experiences and say yes to travel whenever possible! A lot of life is about connection, and I think the same goes for doing hair.
Meag
Meag is a passionate hairstylist with 12 years of experience in the beauty industry. From bold color transformations to textured, modern cuts, she loves helping my clients feel confident and beautiful every day. Meag specializes in vivid colors, shag cuts, and lived-in blondes! No matter the service, Meag is all about providing a personalized, one on one experience that will leave you feeling amazing.
Outside of the salon, Meag is a proud mother to her energetic and sweet 6 year old son, Forrest. She also enjoys adventuring outside, watching horror movies, and attending concerts.
As a stylist, Meag believes in creating looks that are not only stylish but also easy to maintain, so you can walk out of the salon with confidence and love your hair for weeks to come.
Liana

Liana is a stylist with 10 years of experience, who specializes in balayage, vivid hair colors, and blondes. She has worked here in Amherst for her entire career doing hair. Liana enjoys doing all haircolors, from lived-in looks to big and bold transformations. If you need a new idea or inspiration, Liana always has ideas!
She is an animal lover, especially her fur baby Ollie, who loves to visit with red door customers. Aside from doing hair, she enjoys cooking and baking, and true crime/horror. She loves to be outdoors - whether it’s hiking in the woods or kayaking on the water. Liana takes pride in creating an easy, comfortable environment for her clients so that trust can be built.
Liv
Olivia, or Liv for short, is a lover of all things creative,
Music, writing, tattooing, and especially hair! She obtained her cosmetology license in both MA and CT, and is so excited to learn and grow here with us. For now, Liv will likely be the first person you connect with when you want to book appointments. She handles all reception and checkout, and can answer questions you may have about our salon menu. Ask about booking services with Olivia while she assists at red door :)
Liv's favorite hairstyles are fun, vivid colors and layered cuts. In Liv's free time, she enjoys yoga, astrology, and doing tarot readings. Also loves concerts and listening to music (mostly Deftones and Limp Bizkit) She aspires to always be kind and courteous to give our clients a positive, enjoyable experience from the start!
